Random Commanders Thoughts

It's used by a lot of MDs for male infertility, it's just not 'FDA approved' for that purpose (and neither are a lot of other dual purpose drugs).

I have no problem with the NFL towing the line on 'it's on the player to report meds/supplements they are considering taking to ensure there is no issue'. Mathis admitted it was a dumb thing to do - he just doesn't want to accept the penalty. I get the NFLs position, because opening the door for exceptions or judging every case individually would be a nightmare.

What the league does with owners who misbehave is a separate issue but if Goodell doesn't address owner misconduct he is a hypocrite.

NO, Goodell?? NEVER!

If Sudafed is on the list of drugs guys cant take while playing the NFL... then they cant take them.... and Clomid is described as:

"Clomid (clomiphene citrate) is a nonsteroidal, ovulatory stimulant used to treat ovulatory dysfunction and polycystic ovary syndrome in women who, after other reasons for pregnancy failure have been ruled out, desire pregnancy and follow additional instructions that make pregnancy more likely to occur with this drug use (see below about dosage and use)."

everything i've read say's it's supposed to treat an ovulation disorder... nowhere have i seen it referenced for men.

Maybe he's really in touch with his feminine side....

Number 80? He only led the NFL in receptions last year and put up 1346 yards.

It's all good, he'll be rated much higher after the season he's about to have.

Carriker might be back. Man, I HOPE so!!

Dear Tony,

It's been a while and I've missed you man. (I included a pic just in case you forgot about me.) Tell Eli and Nick I said hello. See you soon.

The phrase "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" just popped into my head.

I think Goodell and the Management Council have already shown themselves to be hypocrites in the salary cap fiasco during the lockout.

"If we don't have the rules in place to stop what you just did then we will draft them, ratify them and then apply them retroactively.'

Sounds like Eastern Europe in the 1960's.

he also said not to listen to the media. Plus the fact that he is working out with Dr Andrews along with the message to the 3 NFC East QBs that he says "hello" leans me towards he just might be back.

I also am hoping he will be...I like the dude. But even if he isn't I will still talk with him on Facebook. he's a character and a good family man.

DE is far from settled. Baker is a natural nose tackle they have out at end because others have failed to step up.

Hatcher takes one spot.

But of the group including Jenkins, Worthington, Bowen, Golston nothing seems certain.

I would not be surprised to see the Redskins sign a veteran 3-4 DE after the final round of cuts for 2014.

Not even sure if they'll pan out or not but thinking about the T & G we drafted makes me grin. Here's to hoping Murphy also turns into the next JJ Watt .

Seems Irsay should get at least what one of the Denver FO guys got last year - probably more because it looks like the message isn't getting through to upper management and Irsay's probably worse in terms of the violation itself and the damage done to the image of the NFL. Unless that standard which has already been set concerning players is invalid.

I want the Bruce to just go the hell off on Ried for once. Something like "Ried, just STFU and resign you retarded fossil", the Bruce.

The self-serving types glomming onto the name change brigade may actually be doing the redskins a favor. Now that the team is finally on message with their responses, each time the issue reappears they are able to chip away at the iceberg a little more. The last couple of replies are finally staring to sound like what they should have for the last 20 years.

It's a big ass iceberg, no doubt, but at least we've set aside the Bic lighter in favor of a pick axe.

Self-serving types? Their motives may be a little suspect, but self-serving is not one of them. That's the type of rhetoric that does nothing to help and only drives the divide further.

Can't agree at all about a Politician from Nevada taking time for this not being a self serving type. The fact that 50 out of 2250 signed this (many were State senators) and that all were of the same background goes straight to it being a self serving attempt to grab headlines especially when put in the context of their own personal history. See Wale's comments (as comical as they are in their delivery) about Reid's opportunism and lack of consistency on these matters, the last thing I thought I'd be doing is pointing to a Rapper for support but the guy pretty much nailed it without even getting into the debate itself.
