Random Commanders Thoughts

Shanahan was so terrible at clock management... seems like such a fundamental skill. We've looked disorganized as hell during the times of the game where elite teams succeed on a regular basis.

Yet we will still have people calling for Cousins to play.

I was really hoping he would not play this year at all and the Redskins could fleece some other team. Unfortunately, the secret is out now.

What secret is that. The one about no qb being able to be productive behind our line has been out for a while.

But the Rams hold the #2 overall draft selection!

We gave them their #2 overall pick back +2 more firsts and a 2nd for a dude that isn't even playing. Is that reason enough to fire the dude who made that trade? If it was Snyders decision then he should fire himself.

Earlier today my 22 yr old son said he has never seen the Redskins as a consistent winner. Sad.

So the Rams get the #2 pick they gave us 2 years ago, plus all the other picks they ended up with as a result of the trade.

Redskins 2012 - #2 Pick in 1st round Robert Griffin

Rams 2012 - #6 and #39 - they take our #6 pick trade down and get the #11 and #45 picks, trade that #45 and pick up the #50 and #150 pick.

That netted them Brockers (Stud), Janoris Jenkins (Stud), Isaiah Pead (Drug Violation 1 Year suspension) and Rokevious Watkins (Waived Plays for Chiefs)

Rams 2013 - #22 pick traded to Atlanta for their #30 and #98 and #198

That netted them Alec Ogltree (Very Solid Rookie Season), Stedman Bailey (Nothing Special) and Zac Stacey (Just shy of 1000 yards in 14 games)

Brockers
Jenkins
Ogletree
Stacey

That is 4 solid starters for Griffin. Plus they hold a very good hand to trade that #2 for more picks.

I am not crying over spilled milk as much as I am kinda vomiting over it.

On a good note, we get the #1 pick in the 2nd round, 4th and 6th rounds. I am not sure why the NFL does it this way, but they alternate the #1 and #2 in each round. That means we get the #1 pick in the 2nd round, 4th round and 6th round.

The only way that trade will be worth it is if we win a Super Bowl.

The way I understand it, it doesn't what the Rams have now, or what they did with their picks in the past, but what they have in the future, and that future includes our first round pick for 2014 which is the #2overall.

Is that correct?

9 wins took the division.

huge missed opportunity for the franchise this season.
