Virginia is the only smart one. Unlike DC they are not going to pressure Snyder to change the name of the team nor are they going to yellow dog the construction by forcing the Skins to use local-only firms whether they are the most qualified or not.
In Maryland's case they think ANY business should consider themselves fortunate to locate in the state and refuse any tax abatements or infrastructure investment even if the owner is willing to pay for the stadium himself.
Chris Russell said anyone who thinks they are waiting that long is foolish. But yes, the lease expires in 2027.
There is a good argument to be made that Russell is a dope so who knows.
I dread a new stadium. Will probably mean the end of me as a season ticket holder and many others too. Depends on if they go with psl's and hike prices like new York and Dallas did.
