I wonder if it was a full 11 on 11 or just formation type.
 
If you're rolling out he Fake Field goal in a game, it's probably critical. No issues with getting the practice in.

At the very least I have no doubt it was fun for the guys and you need some of that in the training camp heat.
 
It could've also been done for a PAT practice, 4th down on the GL practice. I just hope they didn't try it up against Watt.

Not to mention the move of the XP... I would imagine with more room, more teams are going to be attempting FFG to try to get that 2 pt conversion. I doubt it's part of the game plan, but having it in our back pocket could prove valuable in critical times
 
The more important question... what was the result of the play? ;)

looks like we're having good practices against the Texans

Inhachio with the tip and Goldston with the INT
Murphy coming in free for the "sack"
Crowder burning every man, woman, and child in the vicinity

Griffin is looking sharp against the likes of Watt and Wilfork.

Guess it depends on who's reporting ... saw on a Texans board a reporter tweating that Mallett chewed up our secondary to the tune of 15 straight completions, and that Robert had several balls batted down and didn't really do much at all. Kinda brushed us off.

Skins.com makes no mention of the Mallet streak and overall makes it seem like we accounted for ourselves pretty well.

Hate not being able to see any of this with my own eyes.

I guess that blocking sled had had enough of DJax's proclamations.
 
Fortunately, neither of those injuries sound too bad.

Training camp is tough. On one hand, you want the coaches running extremely physical practices.

On the other hand, you don't want anyone injured, and you'd like to see guys get days off.

It's a thin line they have to walk.
 
Griffin played against the greatest player in the league arguably and held his own. Not every pass is going to be a completion. He did well today and is maintaining what coaches are asking of him.

Desean is still unstoppable even with a hurt shoulder. It was hurt last year as well and he torched mother****ers.

That could be why he had him playing guard. To go against those two is an education that you won't be getting playing your own guys or in a classroom.
 
I'd love to see Scherff at guard. The only way he plays guard is if Moses is good enough at RT. And that would be great news for us.
