ELephant's reprise: we don't need any new o-line in 2015. all is good. it's the QB's fault.
 
I have stayed away from the media about Griffin and Gruden this week until today. It is total bullshit that Gruden has been calling Griffin out, and throwing him under the bus. If you are gonna call out players you better call all of them out. How about call out your piece of shit defensive coordinator? That is directly on you Jay. I thought Jay was a QB coach, yet we seem to put in a system that does not fit the starting QB. I honestly thing Jay is doing this on purpose to get rid of Griffin so he can bring in his qb, whoever that may be.

Our HC, and QB are acting like ****ing babies with this bull shit drama, and the media loves it. Thanks for keeping us the laughing stock of the NFL.

This is gonna go one of two ways, and I have a bad feeling we may get killed today because of this crap. This team has zero discipline, which is not a surprise because Gruden can't even control himself......

Penalties, turnovers, lack of takeaways, missed assignments, so many players having no idea what they're supposed to do on a given play, nearly total inability to take advantage of the few takeaways and big plays they do get. Ten games in. Not much to hang your hat on as a player or a coach.

Why are we the only team that feels the need to announce players who are 'out' 3 days in advance? Why do we do that? Do you not think that preparing for how to cover Jordan Reed is going to be different from worrying about Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen? Why do we not take advantage tactically and keep our cards closer to our vest?

I really don't understand this. It's coaching strategy 101.

Really, it would be about whether Grimm would do it. He has probably missed any window of becoming a head coach in this league, but I see him not doing anything than to go back.

Since watching fantasy closely, I have noticed that roughly a third of the teams in the league will announce players out a day or so in advance, usually as early as Friday. No idea why.
 
The whole situation just stinks. If Jay hasn't figured it out yet he sure as hell knows now that between the DC media and BSPN the media as a whole hates the team. I just keep thinking that maybe he and everyone else in the bld has already tried reaching to Griff in his bad habits, film study, limelight etc with no change. That's why he's put on public notice, I mean if the team sees the HC calling out the most important position then they COULD BE next. Sink or swim this seems to be Jay's wake up call for everyone, including himself.

Me personally, if I give a troop a reprimand it's 9/10 times behind closed doors. Although without naming names I'll brief what the issues were to the whole section to ensure it's not repeated. Don't have a problem with Jays discipline, could probably stand to have a professional media mentor or something tho.

Edit: Meant for the 'clock's ticking' thread. Further proof our team has made me crazy and retarded.
