Is he allowed to return if we trade him? Just wondering if we can at least get something for him from Rams or 49ers.

I am assuming by the Redskins statement he doesn't get paid this year. Is my thinking correct?

In Scot we trust...
.too soon, hopefully he finds whatever he's looking for in life. I'd never welcome him back.

If we can get a 2019 sixth or seventh round pick for Cravens, then do it. It is time to move on from him. Montae looked good in limited duty yesterday. Frankly, the defense looks better without Cravens.

We were watching NFL Network on Sunday before the game and it was Rappaport that was reporting he'd heard Cravens was coming back.

Wifey asked me if that was good new, was I excited. I said I'll believe when I see it coming from him.

I swear he just makes crap up most of the time. Lol

The Moss interview really brought a smile. It was what I wanted to see someone say for a long time about our unemployed and effectively retired friend, RGIII (from WP):

Moss said Monday that Griffin, who was released by the Redskins in March 2016 and remains out of a job after being released by the Browns this past March, got what was coming to him after Shanahan was fired in December 2013.

“So, 2014 comes, and Jay Gruden comes in, and he don't care,” Moss continued on Monday. “We see that now. He doesn't care. He don't care what he says about you, he doesn't care what he says at you. And he rips RG every chance he gets, like every meeting, and we're sitting there looking like, ‘Yeah. You know what? You were just sooo happy that Mike and [offensive coordinator] Kyle [Shanahan] and them is gone, but now you're getting your behind ripped every day, because you're not playing the kind of football that we need to play for us to be successful.' So, it comes back and bites you in your behind, because now you see this guy is at home. :nana:

Reporters are sticking with their 'sourced' story. Continuing today to say that he was expected to appear at the building today. Bruce must have said 'not on my watch'.

Cravens let his teammates down by leaving the team a week before the opening game of the season.

If he had issues outside of football or inside the game, he needed to go to the coaches before that - to give the team a chance to address that position in free agency, trade, or other.

Instead, he simply left everyone high and dry.

Fortunately for the team Montae Nicholson looks like an NFL player. Contrary to pre-draft reports of him looking like Tarzan but playing like Jane, he seems to be an aggressive player that has some real upside to his game.

Personally, I don't think we are going to miss Mr. Cravens.

In any case, as others have indicated, the note more or less confirms that even if Cravens wants to come back down the road, it won't be to the Redskins.

Because you just can't count on him.

Didn't see either of their names in the box score....did Niles & Sprinkle even play?

Paul had a huge play that wasn't reflected in the box score.
On a 2nd and 10 from our own 16, he drew a 25-yard defensive PI penalty.
The drive resulted in a missed field goal, but still the yardage from the PI got us from out of deep in our own territory.

Boom.....#17 power rankings bitches!

I really liked this tidbit about the running game too.

(.........17. Washington Redskins

2017 record: 1-1
Week 2 ranking: No. 24

Washington can be a force when its rushing attack gets going. Over the past three seasons, the Redskins are 15-2-1 when rushing for at least 90 yards as a team (3-13 when they don't). The 229 rushing yards Sunday against the Rams were Washington's second most in that span.......)
