Yep. To me, this screams "well, we kind of preach controversy & edgy statements on first take, so we can't really fire this guy, but he definitely crossed the line that we haven't clearly defined for this show, so we're not going to renew his contract, even though we can't come out and explicitly state that, seeing as how we've coached him to be controversial while on First Take."

If you think about that Juggy, you'll realize that it's not actually the statement that makes it fireable or non-fireable, but the color of the skin of the person who stated it ;)
