But secretly.....I kinda hope.....that if someone were to visit my grave.....that on my gravestone they'd find one of those little, plastic Redskin helmets.
'Cause, hey....it's who I am.

Little story..
My late husband and I met because of the Redskins. When he died, my brother and his brother-in-law both gave eulogies and BOTH of them mentioned the Redskins. When I do get to visit his grave, which now that I'm in West Virginia is not often, I put burgundy and gold flowers with a few of those "little plastic helmets" in them.
I personally have no doubt that when it is my time, my family will do the same. If they don't, I'll come back and haunt them.
But a little seriously... I am loyal to this team to a fault. Yes, I can let it "roll off my back" within 24-48 hours after a loss, but I am suffering with the best of you during a game, especially when it's a game we seem to be giving away rather than the other team "winning" (if you know what I mean). The Minnesota game was one of those games. I did suffer a little longer after that one. But when I was younger (i.e. 20-40's) (yes, I'm 60 now and actually remember back pre-Allen, going to games with my dad when I was 7-8 years old in the early 60's) I lived and died with this team. If they lost, I was a wreck the entire week. If they won, I was on a high. The year we were the ONLY win for the Dallas Cowboys was the worst season for me... as
because I had a friend who was a Cowboy fan. Football gives me an escape from real life. Right now that is something I need, win or lose.
HTTR and see you in chat Sunday. I can't get the game so I'll count on everyone to give me updates
