Official Game Thread - Week 9 - Seahawks @ Commanders

I’m going to say, while tensions are high, please be respectful of each other. Also, there’s a whole Terry thread so I think if the Terry conversation has to continued, please take it there

I’m off to bed.

Please be good to each other. It’s a tough night for everybody.

What a nightmare and what an eerily RG3 situation all over again.

Jayden’s mom said don’t say that. Seriously though, I hope it’s not the same, but you can see why people make the comparison.

Sadly every one of us who has been here is used to this kind of luck. Horrible.

Here’s still hoping Jayden comes back better than ever. It will probably be next year. At least it’s not his legs or throwing arm.

Yeah, this isn’t an outlier position. I said to my son, and I quote, “why the fuck is Daniela still on the field?” when the drive started. It made no sense to me. For the “needs reps” crowd. What exactly is there to learn in this scenario? For the “Jayden wouldn’t want to come out” crowd, who cares? Quinn has held him out when he wanted to play on multiple occasions.
Oh yeah indeed. I think our position was simple common sense.

this game coaching wise was worse than any Zorn game. Its an all timer malpractice coaching job

Mariota will be hurt within 4 weeks with the kind of snap count he’s going to have as the full time starter. We’ll be watching the Josh Johnson/Sam Hartman tank commander show by week 13 imo. It’s going to be really hard to watch and we keep losing more players to injury as we go. Brutal
I would either shelve everybody who might be on the team next year and trade the remainder.

Tunsil, at the very least. Should not play. Let Coleman play LT. Sit Biadacz, let Allegretti play.

Trade Deebo and Payne.

That’s a start. I’m sure there are others I could come up with.

You’re not wrong at all. I thought the same thing.

He didn’t get nearly what he asked for. He basically y took the deal he was originally offered because it was reasonable and at his market. The team shouldn’t have paid him the ridiculous sum of money he was asking for, and didn’t.

It was Terry’s timeline to wait until after training camp to see reason. Not the team’s.
Wether you guys like it or not, the facts were then and are, he had value and deserved a bump in pay and had enough leverage to get it and GOT IT!

Front office screwed up the chemistry in the locker room playing chicken among a myriad of other dumb roster decisions… so here we are.

And the lot of you still mind numbingly believe we’d be fine without him, but here we are, 3-6 with the these crap receivers who can’t get open and now a hurt Jayden who had to scramble around because of it, yet you’re still holding to a simple minded argument… obtuse… is it deliberate?

It was even worse than Jay. (Runs and ducks for cover)

Please take this convo to the All Things Terry thread

waiting for Quinn’s press conference, he’s taking his time to do it

Dude will you acknowledge that McLaurin took the offer they gave him all along because his ask to be paid like Chase was delusional and insulting? He got the raise they were offering him all along, it’s wild you don’t see that.

They agreed he deserved a raise. He took what they offered. Eventually. They were right about his value, he was wrong. It wasn’t a few million they were arguing over, it was tens of millions of dollars and guaranteed years.

In your scenario, they capitulate and give him what he wants in June so he doesn’t skip training camp (his choice while under contract btw). Okay, and Terry is the highest or second highest paid WR in the league at 30 in that scenario. Please see reason and stop posting about this
