Official Game Thread - Week 9 - Seahawks @ Commanders

Macdonald felt sorry for us and didn't want to run up the score. I literally had zero confidence in stopping them even from the 24yd line with no timeouts. We look like the Washington Generals. Always lost and chasing. Never ahead of anything.

Oddly I’m still enjoying the game because we look like the team I remember
I've always believed that I would love the team a lot more if they wore their classic uniforms.

I think I hate the team more now than I did before 2020.

Sadly, it appears AP bought into his own hype last year, thinking because we lucked our way into the NFC championship that we were a sound football team only one or two players away from the Super Bowl. Clearly, that was not the case.

For sure. Now we see if he has the fortitude, self-awareness, and talent to learn from it and overcome. Because a lot of his first coaching staff seems to be a bust right now in the structure he created for them (and I firmly believe that if his drafting and FA performance improves he should be allowed two HC hires at least until it’s clear it’s his vision and roster that is the problem).

With no Wrs. Teams just play man, crowd the line of scrimmage and go after Jayden. The Bears set the template and every team since has followed.

i am not worried about the O line or Qb next season. The offense will be more than fine. Defense needs to be fixed and Whitt has to go

Retiring Monk's jersey at half-time, and some ass-hat decided to put his number on the field in Seahawks colors. What the actual fuck. You can't make this shit up

Only 3 players have had 280+ yards passing and 4+ TDs in a full game this season. Sam Darnold has done it in the first half. Oh, and he's one of the three players to have already done it this year (341 yds, 4 TDs vs TAM) #MVP https://t.co/nD3Ogli2je

AP needs to worry a little less about collaborating with his coaches, hurt some feelings, and tear this bitch apart for whatever he can get and rebuild it using the work of his department and his eyes.

The guys his coaches beg for, and pound the table for, seem to suck big ass. Go buy the groceries, sometimes the guys being paid to evaluate know better. Put it on Quinn to fix his coaching staff (it’s too early to fire him after a NFCCG appearance), get Harris to commit whatever resources are necessary to enable that. Then go stack young, fast talent and have the expectation that the coaching staff needs to build their schemes around it and make it work.

Because whatever collaborative approach they’ve been taking, with the people on staff they’re collaborating with, isn’t working at all. Obviously.
Thing is I am not sure what players have any value on the market that we wouldnt keep. Terry maybe. But he's hurt. Deebo?

Be thankful you're not here. We're sticking around for the Art Monk jersey retirement and will probably roll after that
My cousin called me earlier. Got a flat on 270 near Urbana. Put a donut on, and was about to turn it around and go home. Soldiered on down 270 and 495 on a donut for this. 😫

I hated his hiring from the get go. He sucks as an HC. Atlanta went to shit once Shanny skipped town.
Yup. Up 25 points on Brady???
And he came here from Dallass?

With this defense and these WRs,, I don't see us winning another game....hell, Miami might even fucking beat us!!

Honestly, we've failed Jayden. Last game he played without our top 3 WRs. He's played most of his other games without his 1st and 3rd wr. Luke got hurt on the opening kickoff. Now he's playing without 3 of his top 4 WRs. For most of this season we are playing with guys who have done nothing in the league and wouldn't play on any roster in the nfl. We are playing like, lane, more, Tay Martin, Burks, etc.

These guys have done nothing. Deebo is the only one and everyone in the offseason said that he's more of a gadget guy than a true wr. This is the biggest difference with Jayden. McLaurin is a true number one and guys like dyami and Zaccheaus are true WRs who will have major roles on other NFL teams like they are doing now. We literally have Deebo and no other accomplished receiver.

Ertz is old and he's thrown multiple passes to Bates, the blocking te. Even if the season is over, we have to get him some receivers at the deadline to continue his development. Lane is just as trash as our defense right now

That bad huh?

Hope Art Monk’s jersey retirement was good. I remember when he broke Kargents record, good times. 888 catches is a team record likely to stand for a good while. Hail #81!

There is slim chance of it happening even assuming the defense could stop Darnold, which they can’t, but I would stay a little while to see if Jayden could lead a magical comeback, because imagine missing it if he did.

Payne. Iggy as slot CB was said to have interest weeks ago. Try to hook Ertz up with a ring shot somewhere for a 7th round pick, if he wants. Wagner too but there won’t be any takers.

I still don’t mind the Tunsil trade but as he still doesn’t have any guaranteed money on the books for us yet I’d look into getting back what we spent on him, or close to it. Most of the league didn’t even know he was available when we dealt for him. Coleman + Conerly and move forward. Swing was taken after a NFCCG appearance, understandable, it didn’t work out for the roster as a whole.

Quinn is fired whether he knows it or not. He's done. You can't put this product on the field. May not happen in the near future but hes done. Look at how much better McDonald looks by comparison.

You're a nice guy Dan but your team is a circus act and getting worse.

Listened just now to 106.7’s halftime show. Defended Whitt. It’s not his fault. Cringe worthy listen. Most of the local media defends Whitt.

i know Whitt’s a nice guy, with a deep voice who talks like a seargant. Its all cool to listen to. But come on.

For some reason I loved that Jayden did the father son holy spirit cross when running out on the field to start the half
