Pick 6. We may earn a top-3 pick depending on what this injury to JD is

Hey, at least they wouldn’t go into next season thinking they’d made it and built a good roster
That was the most disappointing part of the off season, that Peters and Co seemed to have bought into their own hype and started doing things like brining in Von Miller, like we only needed a piece or two to go to the show. I expected better. Hopefully, this a a wake up call.

We really overperformed last year. But this year I think the oldsters we brought in are getting too old, the youngsters are too few and also not quite ready yet, and then the injury bug/Terry holdout kind of did the rest.

This is still Ron Rivera's fault.

Speaking of the draft, where do we start?? Edge? WR? I personally think we need to attack defense hard this off-season

And with all that cap space....

Game over. Sorry we had to watch this mess together this afternoon. Hopefully you can find something good this evening. Love you guys
Needless to say, I'll be rooting on the Niners!!!

lol look at half our fanbase losing faith in JD5 already, pathetic.
Why cant anybody have a conversation without being accused of losing faith or being pathetic?
I haven't given up on jayden and i haven't really seen anybody else who has either, just that he's now had three separate injuries in less than a year and a half and Maye is looking like a star this year so the debate about the two has gone from holy shit thank god we didn't make that mistake to wow maybe there's a possibility team maye was onto something being worried about jaydens versus mayes body type.

Thats fair. But body size does help in the NFL. Really a moot point but Maye is a big dude who is lighting it up right now. I always said all 3 of those guys would end up good players. To me it came down to which one had the best chance to stay healthy. For me that was Maye.

And Marcus just threw a pick 6. This season is most likely over.

There’s no evidence that bigger bodies help QB’s stay healthy. Avoiding getting hit in the pocket is the main thing. Most mobile QB’s get hurt in the pocket, same as statue QB’s. We’re just scarred by the RG3 experience. Daniels is a superior passer to RG3 on his worst, most inconsistent day so we’ll probably be okay if we can actually build the roster around him. Hasn’t happened yet

I posted weeks ago that something was off with this team. It certainly didn't have the magical aura that propelled us to the NFC Championship. Blame on a lot of things, but the main ones are the long hold out by Terry, and misjudging the roster talent because they needed to play in the preseason games to develop some chemistry. Finally, hiring an unproven play caller on defense cemented the fate for this squad.

The defensive play caller is the worst part. Called it when he was hired that it was a mistake.

Chosen is getting more looks by the QB's than Luke or Lane and Sinnott is not present on the field in passing situations. I really expected these three to be given more opportunity

I disagree. All of the smaller QB's in the league are injured right now. Murray, Young and Daniels. While two 40 year old guys who are the tallest in the league are not. Rodgers and Flacco.
