With all of these injuries they may as well just play the backups and see what happens. Ertz is listed as questionable too.

JP is an idiot. Not only has Diggs not been good since his All Pro year but he is also not a fit in Eberfluss’s scheme. He is better in man and Eberfluss is one of those DCs who loves playing zone and won’t change what he does.

Listening to a Cowboys media show a couple of days ago. They said that from the portion they saw, Dallas was practicing a lot of man to man, press coverage this week which is what their fans and media have been calling for. Their zone defense has been even worse than ours with massive blown coverages..
They probably also think that we are too beat up at the skill positions to threaten them. This also allows them to add their hard hitting safety to the box more to help against the run. He thrives better playing downhill but their coach has mostly kept him in coverage.
Our young bucks and newly signed receivers have to not only win the match up but make the tough contested catches. I saw that we released Martin. I still feel like Bill should be able to run on them. Even if they stack the box, that just means one miss and it's daylight. He has to secure the rock. Cowboys fans feel like some of their poor tackling is due to guys rying to punch the ball out without wrapping up so I know that they will be trying to attack the ball on Bill with his b2b fumbles.
Them playing man more also opens up lanes for Jayden to run, especially on 3rd down. I hope they remove the brace but it almost feels like this medical staff will have him wear it the rest of the season. I'm honestly not feeling them right now

Down our top 3WRs and even Ertz is gimpy. Worst case, if Ertz plays, I wouldn't mind seeing some double or triple TE sets with Sinnot involved. Something about that kid I am starting to trust. He's destroying people at blocking now and is faster than Ertz. I think that he's ready to prove himself and I see that dog in him.
I a 2nd note, this medical staff is a serious question mark to me. We didn't put Noah or Terry on IR when they've clearly had serious injuries. DQ a couple of weeks ago saying that the Samuels injury isn't long term and acts like he will get better every week. Ever since he's said that, Deebo has gotten drastically worse. I don't even know how to full heal that thing without almost being completely off of it for awhile. Even the Jayden injury, it seems like no one is on the same page. It's annoying for real
