Bill was great.
However I think you have to give a ton of credit to the OL for their blocking and Kliff was REALLY creative with the run scheme.
The one run which was blown up was some sort of a counter play and everything got discombobulated, but they did similar things all game and they worked great.
And Bill gets credit for hitting the creases and holes hard and squeezing through them, and also getting some tough yards.

I really can’t wait to see what the whole offense looks like with Cosmi and McLaurin back. In theory they should just keep getting better and better.
Kliff has said Lynn does a great job with the running plays. I think the big credit to Kliff today, AFTER those horrible drives which looked a lot like the whole Falcons game last week -- there was so much unpredictability. It definitely helps to have JD back there, it puts a lot of stress on a defense with him specifically. You don't get the same stress with almost any other QB in the league not named Maholmes or Allen.
Today's playcalling started in an absolutely awful way. The results were similarly awful. I will tell you, on the punt drive, I wasn't angry at the 3 straight pass attempts. As Brady said (ugh), it was aggressive and that is a choice. When it's mixed in with unpredictable play calls enough, I don't have a problem with a series that looks like that.
My problem is when multiple drives just look extremely predictable; I feel like we saw that in ATL, and we saw it here in the first two drives. I liked most of what I saw the rest of the way. Great game.
I just don't know if Kliff will call it consistently like that the rest of the year. He just seems to love to pass. I wonder if Terry comes back, if things change, or if he gets more confident in Luke and Jaylin... I feel like we can see an identity taking shape from the team, but I am not sure the OC is onboard. I guess we'll find out.
The D was opportunistic.
Man - Kingsbury has sure as hell established that he never had any intention of running some kind of 'Air Raid' offense as many were convinced he would.
He has quickly figured out that having even a decent rushing attack and being committed to it in every game makes a QB like Jayden Daniels even more deadly than he is just based on talent alone. Add in making RBs who can catch the ball effectively - and you have the makings of a great offense.
This season there have been five games.
I don’t see how you can say Kingsbury figured anything out with the way he called the Falcons game, a game against the second best pass defense in the league. Even if you were scheming against their weakness you would run more there. In terms of game flow, he ran more only when the game was in severe trouble in the fourth.
Against GB, we all know what happened.
Against NYG, there was a lot of balance; yesterday, a ton of balance and great calls outside of two horrendous drives.
With two out of five games as major head scratchers, and after last year, I would say the jury is out on him learning that lesson. Just my opinion. I am as hopeful as ever after those quarters but I still feel that if they have a bad drive, the running game gets shelved. I still feel sadly confident (from experience and careful observation) that the Washington running game is on a short leash due to its Coordinator.
I hope I am wrong. Yesterday’s game showed what this offense can do. This year’s team with these personnel; they can be something truly special. I think what held them back in their losses was their OC.
Also, I hope Bill is ready for a much harder test on ball security. The Eagles are drooling.
