It's Week 4 and our squad travels south to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. Atlanta coming off their first win of the season as they beat the Giants on a last second FG. Washington enters the game off a depressing loss to Buffalo. Can Washington bounce back against a team that many view as inferior? Can the defensive front finally get home against an immobile Matt Ryan?

Washington enters a 1.5 point favorite

Gametime is 1:00pm Sunday October 3rd in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta

Week 4 Game Guide

Lets talk it up!

Eternal optimist has me wonder if we see a different defensive (more aggressive) game plan because Ryan is a statue. He's by far the least athletic, is this the game our defense starts to get home?

Me, too. I'll be on a plane heading towards Hawaii so I'll be counting on messages from you when we dominate!

I know it’s early, but I think this is the game that tells us what kind of season it will be. If they lose this game, we are talking about a 3 or 4 win team and possibly a top 5 pick. If they win, maybe it gets them back on track. There is no guarantee and a win may still mean a 3 or 4 win season. But a loss pretty much guarantees it since they can’t beat the bad teams.

That’s our most significant injury list of the season to date.:co-obvious:

There was a nice little piece put out today by the team showing how the players honoured Rivera in regards to his cancer battle. It was really nice to see and probably my favourite moment of this entire season so far. I will admit, it made me cry. It points to the togetherness of this group and I think to an extent, their resilience. They are going to keep playing for Ron and I expect a feel-good win on Sunday that could hopefully help re-establish some positive energy around this team moving forward this year.

I just hope doesn't end the way like it did when Kirk Cousins tossed a pick 6.

Our pass D is so bad, they're giving up the most fantasy points to QBs in Yahoo.

We seriously NEED to be pressuring the Atlanta offense. Ryan is a statue. He's smart enough to know what to do if we just rush 4. He's also smart enough to not get overwhelmed and confused with pre-snap hijinx... that said, we simply cannot rely on a 4 man rush in passing situations. Ryan gets noticeably uncomfortable when there's traffic around his feet and in his face. Going back and looking at the game vs the Giants, I don't think he trusts himself. I saw on 2 consecutive plays, him audible to a pretty vanilla run play. A few plays later, he throws a ball 4 feet over his WRs head, that SHOULD have been picked off, from a clean pocket.

I'm not saying he's anywhere near what he used to be, but it's more of an emphasis that we HAVE to make him uncomfortable. He MAY do enough to beat himself back there, but we simply should not make his life easy.

glad we travel... interested to see how it comes across during the game.

Charles is a bust. It's time to call that now.

Redskins fans: We have the patience for a rebuild and player development.

Also Redskins fans: That 4th round pick on his 2nd year is a bust, cut him.

Or how bout they have veteran depth at that spot so there's no need to rush him?

Nahhh...cut him.

How about you look at stats and time on IR over trying to talk shit?

I'll wait.

You're an emotional guy today. You need a hug?

You want to cut every player that gets hurt and every low round pick that doesn't start or every low round player that gets on the field but doesn't play at an All-Pro player from the jump.

Then you go in Game chat and critcize every poster who doesn't wave the pom poms when you are the most negative poster on site.

Go look in a mirror and ask yourself: "Should I be benched or cut?

Ooooooooh..edgy!

Yeah, you need a hug.
