Stunning how the packers have just shut down our offense. I didn’t think any team could make us look so bad on offense. Is it scheme and game plan or is this GB defense that good?
After this game it’s obvious the packers are going to win the NFCN. Time to place sure thing bet.
As for us I still think we are a wildcard contender.
Yeah, well - if it's any consolation - this is not a beatdown to me by player-to-player, a talent issue purely. It looks like a lot is by failure of scheme and coaching. Those are way more fixable. The place where there is a talent issue of course is our OL against their DL in a couple of places (obvious) - but even there, the help and design isn't right. Stubbornly sticking to the same plan or using "14 points down" as an excuse not to run at Parsons? Eh. Not smart. To me it’s not the loss, it’s the performance.
You could say September is meaningless.Week 2 is meaningless in terms of the whole season. Definitely no need to listen to the talk here. 2-0 vs 1-1 is quite meaningless.
McManus probably has a little extra motivation against us too. That always sucks too.
Haha, well, I would submit there are oddballs out there. McManus strikes me as one of those guys who may be a bit on the odd side.Kicker might be the only position not fueled by adrenaline, passion, and motivation lol. They thrive on peaceful placid minds lol
Hold that opinion come week 18 when it’s a must win to get into the playoffs… the saving grace about what I just said is with the showing of the team tonight specially on defense the season will be over by week 13-14…. The last game won’t matter. I know we are frustrated about this game but this is a very old team and to be honest not as good as we all thinkWeek 2 is meaningless in terms of the whole season. Definitely no need to listen to the talk here. 2-0 vs 1-1 is quite meaningless.
There goes the Achilles
