Official Game Thread - Week 2 - Commanders @ Packers - TNF

One thing to remember, this GB team dominated Detroit. Now maybe Detroit took a step back, they lost their coordinators, BUT the players themselves are still pretty darn good. Even if they aren't the #1 overall seed caliber team they were last year, they should still be a playoff caliber team.

This Packers team just might be the truth.

The team has not done anything to take advantage of 1/2 of the back up oline of the packers being in the game

The issue is their backups aren’t ass, they’re young guys with good potential. Their fans weren’t that worried about missing the two starting OL, I posted some tweets before the game

Would pay for a ticket to see Quinn's and Peter's talk to the team after this one

Where are the crossing routes and jet sweeps? Make the defense run side to side since they're sitting on all the short routes

Historically great on 4th down last year but 0 attempts thus far this year. I'm not saying they should have gone for it there, but I'd love to see them go down swinging; especially since everything they've done up to this point has fizzled.

Embarrassing to attempt the 58-yard guaranteed miss from Gay at the end of the half (which risked allowing Packers points and should have) instead of going on 4th-and-4 with 3 timeouts in our pocket. Quinn disappointed me there specifically

My biggest problem with Kliff last year and so far this year is, I don't like how he times his run calls, and I don't like the actual play designs either. They look like an afterthought and in his comments he has actually said as much - that he has needed DQ to remind him to run or sometimes he forgets.

It definitely looks that way last year and this year.

I thought BRob left yards behind, but I also thought the scheme and playcalling didn't do him favors. I see the same in the short sample we've had this year. Concerning. I really hoped we would see more balance with BRob gone; I hoped (against hope) that Kliff was maybe waiting on having "his guy" and Bill would be the key to unlocking some great run calls. Not seeing it.

Should've been grounding on Love

Yes, this. We haven't gone for it on 4th yet and it kind of affecting our mojo I think.

Pretty typical for TNF. But still a poor showing

Short field. Defense kinda keeping us in this.

Gimme a double reverse with Lane and Deebo and let's see what happens. And maybe a deep shot to Terry.

Will be interesting to see what the All-22 reveals. I also have been thinking he’s holding too long and skittish but also not seeing anyone getting remotely open.

Yeah in his defense the way it looks (without the all 22), they can't block, WRs aren't getting open. And Kliff is calling a crap unininspired game.

Amazing they aren't being blown out so far.

They've taken several to Terry, the timing just isn't quite there yet.
