What happened to the aggressive scrappy playcalling on offense from last year?

Defense is sucking big time but it wouldn’t matter nearly as much if we were producing on offense, keeping the D off the field, making it a track meet

It is a track meet. They are setting records in the 100 and WAS is repeatedly stabbing themselves with the javelin.
 
I thought we kept these "grizzled" veterans around to motivate, inspire and lead. Yet we're playing like scared rookies

Poorly, but understandably so. Left on an island against top-tier DL. The thinking is a bit strange to keep doing it, it seems that there is something they expect to happen that isn't happening. JD beating the rusher? Scheme getting WRs more open quickly? Neither is happening, the rushers are keeping their discipline and the WRs are getting covered in a shallow zone very effectively. Plays aren't lasting long enough (too much pressure).
 
Our safeties are toast. Letting Chinn go looks like a bad mistake now
 
What really sucks is that the Packers aren't doing anything exotic. Just gashing the defense with productive runs up the middle and hitting wide open receivers all over the field.
