Holy fuck this team completely lost composure getting punked by the Eagles and refs. I’m sure the Eagles earned it but the whole team just got in a brawl. Half the roster might get ejected from the game

Yep. Quinn conceded by punting and then doesn’t expect his D to concede and give up more points, and then get trash talked into action by the Eagles? Cowardly action led to the team losing its composure imo

I agree. but their kicker needs more reps and it's against josh Johnson. the percentages are extremely low to non=existent that this is in this not an automatic win at this point.

i actually liked the team losing their composure in that context considering Quinn already waived the white flag

Not often I say this and I hate to, but Quinn just pulled a Rivera with that concession punt and it predictably immediately spiraled into an embarrassing situation bc Quinn was concerned with attempting to chase mere respectability instead of competing to win. It’s not the first time, but I still hate to see it.

imo, what you said would only make sense if the commanders were winning and took their foot off the throttle like they won the game already....which, to the eagles credit, they aren't doing I guess.

I like it from the perspective of…that’s going on Quinn’s end-of-season performance review for sure and will be a topic of conversation in the building. I’m not expecting him to get fired or anything, but if we’re going to have a nightmare season to learn from, well damn then, let’s make it a real fucking NIGHTMARE and LEARN everything we can from it. Both, facing a pathetic opponent at the pinnacle of your sport is enraging. Makes you want to rub their face in it imo. The division aspect is more complex as well, we thought we were on the come up last season and I’m sure they’re glad to put us in our place. Our division rivals feast on that, they all see us as the little brother and even though the Giants have actually been worse over the last 10 years, they feel the same way. And we keep handing them reasons to feel that way, most years.
