He's only the 3rd player in nfl history to have 5 touchdown passes and 75 yards rushing.
I think we can excuse the two picks when assessing whether of not he played a good game.

So, I have no idea how the game transpired, I'm in India. I haven't read anything about it, or seen anything. Yet. But I will.

However, it seems just by the few little things I've seen, it was a pretty "interesting" ending.

The last time I was in India and missed a 'Skins game was 2007, the 'Skins vs. Dallas game where the game ended with the blocked FG, Sean Taylor (RIP) picking up the block, returning it to mid-field, getting a face-mask, and then an untimed down FG to win the game. I woke up and read all about it...

That was a magical game that has gone down in history as one of the most memorable in 'Skins Dallas history.

Will this game go down in the same vane?

Maybe I need to come to India more often for big games, maybe THAT is the reason we win crazy games against NFC East opponents?
 
Was Frerotte the last QB we drafted that we signed to a second contract? I can't think of another, unless you count Captain Kirk signing the franchise tag offers.
Once again, JD excels in the clutch, whereas Cousins padded his stats in garbage time.

I think you’re right.

Though I think the last QB, drafted or not, we signed to a second contract was [REDACTED]. Who should have instead been sent back to the XFL to be a backup QB there.
 
I have to imagine I was not the only one wondering if it would have been better for our final play - the 2 point conversion - Kneel Armstrong it, or just throw a fade out of the back of the endzone and not risk a defensive two point conversion should our RB fumble. Yes I was not celebrating fully as yet. It was interesting but not a surprise to see McNichols get the call after BRobs fumbles.

What a glorious victory, averting a misery monday to ruin our week.

The stats are impressive. But Daniels said he most cherishes having the game on the line and the ball in his hands. The fact that his late turnover made the comeback more difficult gave him even more motivation.

"I love those types of situations," Daniels said. "... (The game is) on thin ice, and plays need to be made. That's what you live for if you really love this sport, you play for those big-time moments where it comes down to the end.

"Until the end, everything's against you, your back's against the wall, how will you respond?"

With a game-winning drive and another rousing victory, naturally. It's what Daniels is becoming known for early in his career.
 
Someone should remind him that there's also nothing wrong with easy lol

... but, yeah, this is a great attitude for the kid to have when the going gets tough.
 
I wonder if Jalen being concussed insisting on facing the ref in a stare down of sorts is what unknowing led him to being yanked from the game. He basically forced the ref into an impromptu concussion protocol check. Players that aren't concussed get up and go back to the huddle so he basically took himself out. The very odd and desperation thumbs up was the icing on the cake. Sorry but too many gifs to choose from.

If folks want to be emotional in the game day threads, maybe its best to let them do that and not try to change anyone. Emotional reactions are not going away.

Why do people keep talking about emotional reactions during the game day chat? Is it anger about an interception or fumble? Or is it complete Doom and Gloom negativity?

Some people like to keep their negative emotions in check during a gameday experience, some show them a little, while others over react and exaggerate things wildly.

It's been going on since the dawn of man and isn't going to change but for some reason the people who keep their emotions in check get really bothered by those who don't despite knowing it's never gonna change and that when the game is over and cooler heads start to prevail most are very reasonable people.

It's a really fascinating dynamic.

Positive emotions on the other hand there's no acceptability limit on those go crazy all you want but negative ones in the heat of the moment have limits.
 
I wasn't in chat yesterday so I can't speak to what was said, but I do know that most people don't like a Debbie Downer.

It's better to just turn it off and walk away until you cool down.
