Not to mention that Eagles locker room is at each others’ throats in the best of times. Barely hanging together, drama on the sidelines and off the field, during a 10-game win streak.

I’m not saying it’s likely, but there’s a nonzero chance that we just started an epic downward spiral for that organization lol

cousins is so far removed from this organization that im glad hes not playing. Kirk was one our better qbs in the last couple decades, but he didnt deserve the $ hes made. Its ridiculous hes made that much money for the results

For sure. I was curious about his ATL contract after he got benched. If he doesn't suit up for them again, he will have received about 6.5 million per game played. Think of how many legendary players made less than that in total career earnings.

Can't be mad at the route he took. He made pretty darn good business decisions. His agent deserves a huge Christmas bonus. And of he gets released i bet another team gives him one last good sized contract. He's at what like 336 million. Can he get to a half billion? It wouldn't surprise me 4 years 200 million with 164 million guaranteed. I can see it happening.

mabye Shanahan and Kirk get that romance going again?
 
Cousins is a coach killer..everyone he played for paid with their jobs. He has been and always will be a "resource drain" on ANY TEAM and diminishes the performance OF THE TEAM.

Agreed. And he's crying himself all the way to the bank. If he was a Cowboys QB they would call him an all time great. I know this one CowTurds fan that thinks Tony Romo is a God. Only reason why I think Romo was great is cause he made 3 teams in the NFC better, Giants, Eagles and Redskins. I still don't understand how that franchise can think that dude that only won 1 playoff game was ever good. He was good against weak opponents. And that was cause he had a great team around him. Cousin is the same. When he was with us we had an amazing WR duo. Then went to Minni with the best WR in the game and a Coach that is a he'll of a Offensive minded Coach. Cousins fed off all that and will be close to a half billionaire because of it.

It's the game day thread and not supposed to be logical. I've been through cancer twice, multiple surgeries, and 6 rounds of inpatient chemo all while they told me I wasn't going to make it (7 years clean) so take what I say in the gameday thread with a grain of salt and realize it has nothing to do with my real life and my ability to deal with tough situations.

As someone who follows the Niners closely (Bay Area resident), I highly suspect Purdy is going to be his QB for close to the next decade. The massive amount of injured starters and backups is the major reason the Niners aren't winning the West this year.
 
At some point, people are going have to stop underestimating Purdy. He was a 🤬 nuisance at Iowa State and it's translated to the NFL for him.
