Official Game Thread - Week 16 - Eagles @ Commanders

I will have a long form post tomorrow. However, for tonight I have just one thing to say:

If you’re someone who gives up as soon as things get tough, in real life, in chats, on threads, wherever… I hope you learned a really important lesson today: don’t. Momentum is real. And we help shape it. Believe until it’s over. And even then, believe next week. This isn’t the old franchise. This is totally different. Embrace that and stop being so mentally defeated and so easily beaten.

Enjoy this one, folks. We deserve it.

Giving up on a billionaire's plaything not performing well when I have no impact on the outcome is not in the same universe as giving up/capitulating when I do control the outcome in a real-life situation. You do not know me in real life. My piece of advice to you is to avoid generalizations when you do not have all of the information.

So we clinch next week with a win.
Can move into the 6 seed with a Packers loss tomorrow I believe. Not likely against the Saints... but still have a chance at it.

Amazing work from the team in hanging there until the end, never giving up. Quinn has them believing. So many mistakes to clean up and fix.
It's always beautiful to beat the Eagles man.

I’m sorry you took offense to my post, but I don’t even know who you are, so you weren’t even remotely being considered when I made that post.

I’m not sure why you took it so personally, though.

Have a great night.

I never, ever turn the game off until it’s over.

Hope you have a great night as well.

That was impressive. This team doesn't know how to stop fighting. Daniels is going to be down right scary once we add more pieces to the puzzle. Philly really turned up the heat on him today and learned, you shouldn't dare him to beat you without a running game... O line has to be a top priority in the off season.

A look in on the Eagles post-game:

I need to go watch the Eagle post game press conferences. I want to hear their whining and sadness of losing a tight game. I want to drink in that pain. Yes inject it directly into my veins please.

If the Eagles don't win the Superbowl it will have been a bad year for them. They are stacked.

We have exceeded every expectation from fans, media and people within the team I am sure.

That drop by D Smith right before the 2 minute warning was huge. If that was a catch this was probably a loss.

A lot of folks thought KJ would play today. Guess not.
I would say something about McCaffrey or Sinnott stepping up but it seems pretty clear they are in Kliff’s doghouse.
LMC played well today. Both of JDs interceptions LMC was open and they were terrible passes. Eventually JD starts hitting LMC regularly.

These turnovers and penalties were incredibly disappointing. Lattimore’s performance and then injury was discouraging. That said; there’s always a chance when JD5 is slinging it. It was nice to see Crowder and OZ step up today. Hopefully Dyami’s injury isn’t significant.

it was a fun game and i didnt expect to win. I was prepared for what couldve been after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th but then how?

Defense. Our offense has that young and dumb short term memory which is a good thing and they can move the ball. Our QB is awesome for a rookie...but i give this game ball to the defense

I love the fight in these guys!! I hope 23 isn't out for any time! JD is just cool hand luke out there. Joking with opposing players, laughing and having fun! I would have LOVED for Him and Cousins to be playing next week. Atlanta kicked NY but thats not saying much. How did Penix look?

He didnt light the world on fire. 18/27 202 yards. It was their D having 2 TDs that made the game look like more of a blowout then it was.
