Official Game Thread - Week 16 - Eagles @ Commanders

I need tech support...I can't post in the chat room on my phone...

Saquon: I'm going to single-handedly take over this game.
Lattimore: Hold my beer.

Two horrible calls back to back on Lattimore. He was beaten on the slant for the TD, and he was out-bodied on the deep ball down field. But people are going to act like this is much worse than it is against a stud WR, which is annoying

thanks for the analysis, no live t.v. here- I am excited for Lattimore for years to come- if he is close to all pro we are looking good with him.

I'm waiting for someone to say it's due to strength and conditioning

61 yards of penalties on a single drive for one guy. Hard to fully pin that on the refs and give the player a free pass.

It’s not hard at all if you watched those plays. Bad calls happen. They happen more often when the margin is thin against a top-5 player.

the first call should have been offensive holding... thats an easy call for any reff if they are not morons. 2nd call was ticki-tacky.. at worst there should have only one call against latimore.

Whatever helps you to process it. I guess I rationalized away a lot of things as well for nearly 30 years before having my "unplug me from The Matrix" moment.

Can't expect to keep turning the ball over and to keep this game close. Bad performance today.

Crapped the bed at home (again) despite knocking out Hurts. How many times can one team step on their collective schlongs in big games?

Way back in my time we had hands across America for peace. Maybe if we had jumping jacks across the district of Columbia for a better team wewould do better.

There’s nothing inherently more noble about being negative when you’re just incorrect. I spent decades being negative as well when it was earned. We don’t need to argue over something that a rational person can just watch on a replay and identify as a bad call.

I’m not a “the refs screwed us guy” usually btw. One of my biggest annoyances are delusional fans who think the refs screw us all the time more than other teams. Bad teams put themselves in position to be screwed by the refs…but sometimes a bad call is just a bad call. And it’s not coping to call it what it is.

4 bad turnovers as the underdog against a more talented team. Even knocking out Hurts, that’s a steep hill to climb.

Newton seems to be having a good game on the computer screen- how does he look in real life?
