Official Game Thread - Week 14 - Commanders @ Vikings

Oh and how the hell are we always the get right team for shitty quarterbacks?

Well, if you're right (it's still early) - it should be visible.

I tend to agree (I mean, the injuries DO matter, but there ARE other issues too; our level of play was too low). Personally, I think Kliff is a bigger problem than people realize. I don't think he is bad. I just think he is not good enough. I think last year Daniels pulled a Stroud and hid a lot of issues. I think the Texans fired Slowik (OC) after year-2. I don't see DQ firing KK after this year, and I'm not saying he should at this stage. However, I think we need to see how the season wraps up.

KK is a problem but not nearly as much as our trash defense. Vikings are only averaging 270 yards a game, already have 170 on us.

To appreciate how bad this is you have to know how anemic this Viking offense was before today. They’ve had more success in these first two drives against us than they have had in weeks. This is a bottom 3 offense this year. Pathetic.

Jayden is going to have one drive each quarter. Wow. Vikings not just beating the zone but also keeping Jayden off the field

This would be a very different game If only we had won the coin toss

Another record broken against this Defense: longest drive this century for the Vikings, over 12:00

My problem with this viewpoint is that our personnel is significantly weaker on D, we have very obvious, exploitable holes in our D. I don't think we have the same issues with our offensive personnel, frankly. I'm not saying when we had all of those injuries we were going to get a bunch of wins - but I do think there are OCs who would do some different things with our healthy position groups: RBs, TEs, OL. Yes we had crazy injuries at WR and of course our starting QB was out, but I have seen other teams get very creative with bad receivers. I just didn't see it this year.

Don’t worry we are actually good, it’s just our schedule and injuries are the problem. Oh wait we don’t have those excuses today.

Sorry, I’m just so tired of losing. We are looking to extend our losing streak to 8 games today.

On 4th down, could have run it in on any of the first 3 tries with CRod getting 5-10 yards a pop. KK has a tendency to get cute, especially on the goal line.

I agree with that, it’s infuriating. I’ve been wanting Kliff to be seduced by a big college program since last offseason so you’re preaching to the choir on this one

Just didn’t want it ignored that despite the poor sequence Daniels threw Deebo a TD, really

Yes, gotta be fair minded, I agree. Not the easiest catch in the world, but I have to say, I'm not the biggest Deebo fan because I feel he misses those catches more than makes them.

Who knew that repeating "Gotta have it" didn't just magically make us "get it" when we "have to have it?" Haha :/
