Any players of significance expected to play today?

Bill isn’t playing but Crod is. Does that say something about how Bill is viewed or is that more likely due to his shoulder injury he got Monday? I’m assuming it’s to protect his shoulder. Also, Martin not playing is also interesting. He really popped rushing the passer against the Bengals.

I think Bill has solidified himself as one of the two players who will "start" with Ekler.

I think the "starters" are Bill and Ekler, and Ekler might get more carries early in the season, might not, we'll see.

The "backups" are going to be CRod and McNichols.

I imagine they are going to give CRod and McNichols (assuming both are playing) a shot today to see in which order, or what specific roles, they play.

My guess is CRod backs up Bill and McNichols backs up Ekler.

However, I don't know if you can dress 4 RBs on game day, so who is 3 vs. 4 might also matter. Special Teams contributions would also figure into who could be active.

I won't be able to watch the game today because I'm going out with the family. I'm not terribly disappointed by that, if we're being honest. The third pre-season game is generally just a glorified practice to see who fills out spots 47-53 on the roster, or players competing to be active vs. inactive on game days.

It would be really good if McCaffery had a good game, and Sinnott as well. But we'll see.

Quinn did say he thought they had a deep TE room. That's not great for Sinnott. I looked at the list Nicki posted, and I didn't see him on it, (thought I could have missed it) so I'm assuming he's going to play.

I think LB depth is also a thing to keep an eye on in this game. There might be a job to be won there.

This is literally the "Cut" game! Who's in and who's out by Tuesday!! May the odds be forever in today's player's favor lol!

I encourage all to join us in our official BGO Game Chat - it's much better than pages of in-game posts. Try it out.

Please don't tell me that run defense is going to be our achilles heel yet again.

gawd. I hate this Chris Moore. he'd better be cut at half time. I don't remember the last time i've seen someone drop passes so often.
