The game hasn’t been as close as the score suggests.

Yeah especially when we keep hearing about how much better the depth is supposed to be. I recall last year watching them get their asses kicked in the preseason and my wife goes aren't you concerned? And my response was yeah only if they have a lot of injuries -- if they do, clearly their bench isn't going to save them.

I am surprised feeling the same way two summers in a row.

Why are we not finding good players? It's the same each year. AP? Scouting? So bad for so long. It's like Ron is still making the picks

Maybe we just suck at scouting players, except for the obvious blue chippers. Because damn, it's like they're all playing like UDFAs out there.

I like their depth at edge, LB, WR. Don't like it at other spots. Peters IMO is mediocre at his job IMO -- he doesn't suck, he's not great. He's so so. But is so so going to dig you out of Rivera's train wreck run of personnel?

Word is DQ is trying to have a more intense camp and preseason, really tried to light a fire under their butts after looking bad last week, and yet this is how the team looks. I don’t care about the result of a preseason game, but this kind of outing does seem like a bad omen.

What exactly does Dan Quinn do at this juncture? Daronte Jones comes from a different defense scheme than his own, he doesn't do offense, and I'm not seeing any semblance of game planning at all.

Winning preseason games is meaningless, but I do think you can tell something from the overall effort, discipline, and talent.
