Here's one of the two 'bad' drops by Dyami. GREAT route, creates separation, just loses concentration... either was thinking TD or thinking he was gonna get blowed up.

Definitely inconsistent . That catch he had on the first drive for a first down was a really nice grab. Ball was thrown a little high but he showed an impressive catch radius to haul it in. Hopefully this was just a bad game and it’s out of the way

He’s a bust if you ask me. Tough to be an NFL WR when you aren’t very good at catching the ball. We spent 2 years trying to turn Stephen Sims into a pro player. I’d prefer we focus on guys who over, not under-achieve.

That drop in the clip above, it looked like he was scared. The other drop near the goal line, he may have been scared, but I actually thought he was trying to make a one handed catch to look good, instead of just doing what he needed to do and catch the ball.

This is almost the exact opposite of what we hear about Dotson. When people talk about him, you hear how much he loves the game, catches everything, does all the right stuff on the field. With Brown, we hear about his speed and athleticism. Those things are great and a very important part of being a football player. But I want to hear about him making tough catches in practice. I want to see him doing that in games. I’m not ready to call him a bust or have him cut, but I want to hear about his work and love for the game, just like we do with McLaurin and Dotson.

Do you remember me commenting after his PAT miss in the first game, how that cemented my belief that we may have made the wrong choice by choosing him over Brian Johnson ? So you can imagine, after this game, I'm really, really thinking about Brian Johnson.

I think he did, last season. As that's how I recall my concern, originating from.
I'll have to re-check the stats.
