Official Game Thread - Preseason Week 2 - Commander @ Lions

Well, I’m really not sure it means anything at all, but at least the defense looks to be playing with more energy early in the game than last week, when they sleepwalked through their first series.

But it’s against a QB with about the same quality hairbrush and backup OL, so eh.
 
First time the offense touches the ball is on the 50 yard line with a 7 point lead.
Cant complain too much about that.
 
Eeek. Not a great way to start for the offense.

Immediate pressure on both plays.
 
Well, I hope the offense gets another series because that was absolutely awful.
 
FWIW, this is why I wanted the offense to play in the preseason. We don’t need to discover this during the game with the Eagles.
 
Yeah, that was the first good throw by Dobbs, because that was tight coverage by Dobbs.
 
Owens just absolutely planted somebody like a potted sunflower on that rush. Damn.
