I'm not saying I disagree, but if you listen to the beat guys, they keep saying it.

There are 5 locks: McLaurin, Diggs, Williams, McCaffery and Lane. Lane is really just a ST guy. They really like Burks for his size and toughness, they like Diyami for his connection with Daniels, and they like Van Jefferson because he's a pro. Should they not like any of them? Maybe, but according to what you hear from Keim, Standig and JP, they do.

But if they did keep 7, it's really 6 + ST guy.

I wouldn't do it but I think it's absolutely in the cards.

If it’s in the cards, it’s stupid. Up until we got Diggs we all realized how bad that room was. And now we have Diggs and we (fans, team, whoever) can’t imagine parting with these all-pros

Tools. All he needed to show to beat out Hartman if they insist on 3 QB’s. Two throws and Hartman is beat. Give this guy all his practice reps and cut his ass.

I don't really want them to keep 3 QBs. I would prefer to have the roster spot for somewhere else and stash a 3rd QB on the PS.

But eh, who knows. If Athan Kaliakmanis wins a spot, good for him.

Mariota has an injury, you can't cut Hartman now. You need arms in preseason. If Mariota is really hurt, they'll sign a QB.

But for the season, if Mariota starts on IR...they absolutely should just go Kaliakmanis (sp?) and Daniels as the only 2. That would be ideal and solve the awkward 4 TE, 4 RB, and bajillion WR we're supposedly trying to keep.

I like the preseason booth. I miss Riggo on the radio. They were "Professional Grade" on the John Riggins show.

And when BMitch is not trying to be provocative, he's very insightful.

Think that 4th down on the 45 yard line was a missed opportunity to see the larger-legged kicker attempt a 62-yarder, I find that pretty annoying. Not like winning the game matters, and if he misses you see the backup D players in a higher leverage situation as well
