Allen is a great compliment back to Henry, too.

And I think Yankoff just made the team.
 
I think they really really want Bill to prove he can be trusted to pass protect (and catch the ball) so that they can afford to not roster McNichols and Ford even though they’re well-rounded. I think in their ideal world, with White as the main “we need a RB to not get Jayden killed here” spot, they roster JCM, White, Allen, Henry. I think we keep 4 and they’d like to boot the two steady vets if they have an excuse, keep McNichols on speed dial or even the PS even though he’s been good to us

I completely agree. I’d keep all three young backs and White. See who separates from the pack.

That would be an ideal scenario. Not sure it happens.

Me neither, but I think it’s what they want to happen, so they’ll give it every opportunity to happen. JCM, White, Allen are locks unless one of them gets injured. The question is does Henry earn a spot, while simultaneously those above 3 locks prove well-rounded enough to allow the coaches to ditch the McNichols binky

I think that’s going to be tough if they keep 7 WR and 4 TE.

QB - 2
RB - 4
TE - 4
WR- 7
OL - 10

Which I think they’re going to do.

That’s 27. I could see them carrying 8 OL, but even theb they have to be one guy shorter on defense.

I’m not suggesting I wouldn’t like it, I just think somewhere there’s going to be a numbers game and RB seems most likely to me.

I know others will say cut another WR. I’m just not sure they’re going to.

And this is assuming they cut a draft pick, because they will only go with 2 QBs
