Hard to even evaluate the back ups when you don't put guys out there that even look like they belong in the NFL and obviously don't get the practice reps to sync anything together.

Yeah its a bit silly, was hoping for a bit more. Not sure how much worth this whole thing is....perhaps sideline and game situation management for the new coordinators?

Beyond the fact most of our players aren’t good enough for a night off… we have two new coordinators… why not give them a chance to have success on a drive in their first game? I don’t know.

I don’t like judging a coach based on a single game.

But these backups are barely a speed bump.

Made a stand there… but meh.

I’m looking for this the next two weeks: all starters playing with reps ramping up over the next two games. Continued improvement.

If we arent going to actually use preseason games to get the starters ready, just forfeit and keep practicing instead. Playing noone and getting worked doesnt help anybody.
