At the end of the day, the play wasn't made, and Chase had a shot. 95% of that play was impressive but if you don't get the QB down it doesn't matter. It's no different than what our offense used to be. Move the ball between the 20s but can't finish. If you can't get the sack, none of the rest of it matters. Chase looked better in those 2 series than he has in the last 2 years, which is promising. Now he needs to make sure he finishes. Thankfully we don't play Deshaun Watson every week, but we do play Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts (x2), Justin Fields, Daniel Jones (x2), Geno Smith, Aaron Rodgers, and Dak Prescott (x2). Not all of them would get out of it every time, but of those 10 opponents, i'd imagine half the time those guys are able to escape that exact same scenario if all things are identical. That is where it's on Chase to make sure all things aren't identical.... and he finishes the play.
