EMBARRASSING. 55 PTS IN THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME?? It makes no sense. I get we lost the turnover battle, but we had proven we could beat them in December despite losing the turnover battle.

You have watched our Dline get gutted all season and say interior run D is outdated thinking? Skins D can't get off the field due to a porous front 7.
I'd say it's a big priority.

I agree, but the degree to which we fail at run defense needs to be addressed. Giving up nearly a first down per carry can't happen almost every darn game. Our run D needs a fix in the worst way.
 
Newton is too small to play inside and slightly too big to play outside. We need some big fat men to play inside . Allen and Payne are not it

I am trying hard, but also prefer fewer neck chains and can't handle another round of Mc Hammer.
 
Just too many huge mistakes to overcome. You arent gonna beat good teams beating yourself. Add in the fact we werent gonna get any calls means it was a tough task.
No shame in losing to a good team. Hate the eagles and hope they lose.

I agree, many of the weaknesses we all thought this team had going into the season just took until today to really become painfully clear. Sucks that it had to be that team in the NFC Championship game.

With that said, the job that was done this season with what we have and Jayden’s emergence at QB have really set us up for the future.

It's a definite weakness to give up 8 to 10 yards a carry. It should be addressed over time, with better depth. I just think that starting tackles and a couple of better offensive weapons would matter more...

It's not like a lot of teams shut down Jamal Gibbs and Saquan Barkley this season. Even with a good DL, it's not gonna happen.

So many holes in this team, it's amazing they got so far...

It does suck to watch them get mauled in the run game.

It's fine to give the player the benefit of the doubt. It's also fine to doubt the player's fortitude when he skips the biggest game of the year and no one tells us why.

Rivera just gutted this OL, especially the tackles. I'm sure they will address it though. Can't remember the last time I had this kind of confidence in the FO...I guess it was Gibbs 2, but mostly cause the defense was solid and Mark Brunell was a good QB pre Injury.

You're certainly correct that the 3rd / 4th produce high quality RBs almost every year. That said, from what Im seeing, this years class is especially deep, so the value / quality of a 3rd / 4th RB this year will be excentuated IMO.

Also, RB is one of those positions where you can get the most return with a later pick. But yes, Oline is still a problem, and we can't keep avoiding them early in the draft.

Turning the ball over five times and still winning was a fluke win. Everything had to be perfect to comeback and win that game.
Turned it over three times today and did not have enough talent to over come that.
You could've put these guys on a regimine of the stoutest steroids you could find for a month and it wouldn't have made a difference.

The Skins are so talent deficient on the DL right now that they couldn't take advantage of a back up center playing on one leg.
Let that sink in........

The plan to address training deficits starts Tuesday, I hope.
 
Cosmi will be out at least half of next year. We need four offensive linemen.

Allegretti is a good swing IOL.

Coleman was slow and plodding on the left side. I don’t think it was rookie jitters. I think it was his ceiling. If he changes his body to be more lean mass and works on his feet he may be able to play RT.

Our IOL and OT depth is also lacking a bit.

Yeah, agreed. Anyone who watched these games has seen how often an edge rusher destroys a tackle and forces Daniels to scramble and make something happen....which he does more often than not, but the less he has to, the better. On the bright side,the interior held up pretty well, all things considered.

I think the OL is the area they could improve on the most...Chris Rodriguez would tear it up with the Eagles OL.
