Official Game Thread - NFC CHAMPIONSHIP - Commanders @ Eagles

I really don't know, but one in five sounds like enough to make their presence heard.

The question I had was how did they know they were Redskins' fans? It could just be ticket resales.
The article says that 21 percent of sales have come from Virginia and Maryland.
That's certainly an indicator but no way of knowing for sure they're washington fans.

Probably just the 21% of Eagles fans lucky enough to escape that city.

I guess my question would be - is that a lot? That sounds pretty routine to me, but I haven't been able to find any stats on opposing fan attendance. I don't think it's 'tracked'.
I don't think it's routine at all. We went to a MNF game at the Linc, when Cousins was still here. We saw very little burgundy and gold....

ATTENTION FOLKS, We've reached the 24 hour mark, we are now less than 24 hours from kickoff.... this is not a drill, i repeat this is not a drill.

Again, this has been an alert by your Burgundy Obsession Alert System

Can anyone get one of these?
BGO was/is running a keys to the game contest. My prediction was tied for closest and I got to choose from a set of key chains. So, you probably can't get that one from BGO, but you can possibly win another one. I'm sure the one I have is available somewhere online.

I hope that if it's a WAS v PHI game, and 21% come from this area, a strong majority of that 21% are actual WAS fans. It would be strange and really sad if some weird majority were PHI fans. I mean, if so, it would be a clear indicator that the stupidity of the Linc has that strong of an affect on opposing fans. Which could be understandable, but is sad.

I am definitely hopeful, good stat, thanks for sharing.

21% of tickets from the DC area. 36% chance to win per ESPN. I love those numbers.

RIP Sean.

Paging Phil Mathis Carl Davis. Let's hope he makes a big play and forces a fumble or clotheslines Barkley

The past two weeks have kind of convinced me that this team, as in the current roster, is actually better than what I have been giving it credit for. Position by position I think it is still very fair & accurate to say it has the least talent/spots taken by blue chip talent than the remaining playoff teams, but they've also shown that when you play as a team and execute properly you can make up some of those gaps if you have the elite players in the right positions (QB, duh). Also, as we've seen already in the playoffs, being a top level player doesn't mean making zero mistakes or removes the possibility that they make a bad play here and there. In a sport where every play is 11 vs 11, it only takes 1 of the 11 to fail to do his job for a breakdown to take place.

Obviously this team will be upgrading the roster as much as possible going into 2025, but I've been very happy with the production from this team overall from the young stars to the crafty vets helping create a winning culture here in such a short time.

I do not want this ride to end and look forward to them clipping those wings tomorrow to earn a spot in the Super bowl!

Commanders 28
Eagles 27
