Official 1st Annual 2025 BGO Mock Draft

That's not a bad pick there. Miami has never done enough to protect against Tua getting injured. And then last year that injury was self-induced. They probably make the playoffs with a better backup. They are 40 - 24 with him. 7 - 13 without!

I’m on the road today, will check in periodically when I can. I got a few minutes before I go but if not I’m gonna DM someone a couple names for the upcoming Seachickens pick

I will be around most if not all day.

OP updated through pick 135

Goskins10 can you please verify I didn't screw anything up when I updated it?

EDIT: I think I did that right....

Looks good to me. So either it's right or we are both wrong... LOL It's right. Thanks for updating. I know COWBOY-KILLA appreciates the helping hand.
For next year, we need to work in advance to make sure we have multiple people who can update the OP. Making picks without the OP updated is complicated. I think given 11 months, we can work that out.

Also, I think it would be super helpful to have a "big board" posted somewhere and then cross off the picks as they are made. I'm maintaining my own (I downloaded and screwed with a consensus big board from NFL Mock Draft Database) but since I picked the same player twice, clearly I both make mistakes and am a damn fool. I'm not sure how that would work, but again, with 11 months to plan, I think we could pull it off.

Things to consider for next year. :)

For me, I think putting up a big board for everyone would defeat the purpose some. For me part of the fun is figuring out my own big board

At ES only one person could update. We would end up posting multiple updates in the thread. Having multiple people would be good. Have to be careful it's not too many. Several updating at once and it cause more issues than help. but I definitely like the idea of more. Maybe have 3.

As for a big board, I am not a fan of doing that. Part of this is creating your own board and working form it like a real team and GM would. The difference this year is many of us did not have time. But when we know it's happening, people will start next month on next year's board just like the NFL teams. Ultimately, it's the GMs responsibility to know who's been picked. This coming from someone who picked a player already taken for someone else... :) But for me it would take away some of the realism of it. Also, who's big board? There is no shortage of people with big boards out there and they are all different. Last but not least, (sorry if I am ranting, but just talking out loud), you risk putting someone on people's radar that you did extra research on and now everybody sees them because they show up on a big board. I will of course go with what the group says. It's not that important to me. But I like this part the way it is. I am willing to share my system with anyone who is interested.

Maybe not a board. Just a list of names in random order is more what I was thinking so it's clear who has and has not been taken. Nothing to really change the way the thing works.

I think we can make it happen so at least a couple people can do it. Right now it's basically 1+ me whenever I get around to it.

EDIT: My bad for bringing up next year. Back on topic, we can figure out next year, well, next year. :)

With the 132nd overall pick the Buffalo Bills select:

That might be the best movie ever made. If it's not the best, it's no lower than top 5, and I'd say probably top 3. Ironically, one of the MAJOR contenders would be Godfather Part I. How Francis Ford Coppola managed to make 2 of inarguably the best movies of all time in such a short period of time is absolutely amazing.

In my top 5 (which kidnof starts in the late 70's when I was born, I have Godfather II, Jaws, Godfather I, E.T. and Money Train as my top 5.

With the 129th pick in the 2025 BGO Mock Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select - Ajani Cornelius, OT, Oregon

With the 136th pick in the 2025 BGO Mock Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select - Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson
