With the 19th pick, the Bucs select CB Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas.

Strengths:

  • Versatility
  • Football IQ
  • Effort
  • Football magnet
Concerns:

  • Tackling
  • Deep recovery speed
  • Eagerness

Barron impacts the defense every time he’s on the field through his effort, play style, and leadership. This is a guy a defense wants on the field at all times, and I think he projects best as a starting outside Cover 2/4 corner on early downs who can kick inside to nickel when the defense flexes out of base. His ability to find the football is unmatched in this class.

With he 21 st pick in the 2025 BGO Mock Draft the Pittsburg Steelers pick Shedeur Sanders Colorado Sr QB
 
That is a really good place for Sanders to end up. Mike Tomlin is the right coach for him. That could be trouble for the NFL Tomlin is a strong enough HC to get Sanders under control and keep Dione from interfering. They will not be happy he fell this far but it's a really possibility.

a tough one for me- I wanted to build draft capital for a QB next year but since I had no offers I figured I would go with another plan

That's something that this exercise teaches it's not always that easy to trade out I see fans all the time saying Why didn't they JUST trade out not that easy though YOu had a great plan A but Plan B is not so bad could really be good

With the 22nd pick, the Broncos select Edge Donovan Ezeiruaku, BC.

Strengths:

  • Bend
  • Versatility (even-front DE or 3-4 OLB)
  • Pass-rush repertoire
  • High effort
Concerns:

  • Play strength
  • Slasher vs. run

Overall, Ezeiruaku’s bend, explosiveness, and hands set the stage for one of the class' biggest risers at the position who has a shot to make an early impact in varying schemes.
