Greetings. Hope y'all had a good and safe Christmas. It's almost 2024 - time is flying by so fast, but late July brought Commanders fans a new ownership group and that makes us winners in 2023.

Here are the maps for the games tonight through Monday. Our game has an expanded map this week when compared to the month of December. The Commanders are back home on FOX with Adam Amin and former Hog Mark Schlereth calling the game.

Week Seventeen

Of all the absolutely horrific color commentators (cough cough Adam Archuletta) Stink is at least palatable.

Yeah, Schlereth is that rare guy who as a former player can be objective and honest (sometimes brutally) about his former team. Archuleta doesn’t add much.

This is going to be a new team in two weeks.

Whatever went on with Snyder in the past is going to be just that, bad memories of the past.

It's a shame the NFL hasn't adapted its management practices to account for NFL franchises being real businesses rather than family workshops, or the Harris bidding group would have had more time to impact the 2023 season.

These teams are no longer selling at levels where a guy that owned a used car business or a cattle ranch is going to be able to afford to buy them and they merely need to show the bona fides to have cash in an account to write a check.

The Dodgers and Red Sox are examples of that and teams like Washington's with a corporate or private equity group ownership model will become more common in the NFL.

Yep. I said that early on, BD. No one has $6 B socked away in the mattress.
