NFL Playoffs Thread

I really don't have anything against Caleb. We never had a chance to draft him. It'd be fun if Daniels and Williams developed a long rivalry.

Ben Johnson is a different story. He screwed us over. I'm happy to see him lose.
I don't have anything against Caleb but I do want Jayden to be the best of the class. Caleb losing at home in the divisional round puts him short of Jayden. Nix getting knocked out puts him short of Jayden since our guy gets criticized and judged for injuries.

Maye is the only one with a case but he's only played 2 hkme games while Jayden had to go on the road and Maye still hasn't looked anywhere near as special as Jayden did last playoffs. He also has had a way better defense. The Defense won both of the Pats games, not Maye like Jayden was doing.

I'm honestly rooting for Denver to win this week because of that. It's not about those guys as people. All have been great individuals but the media and their fan base catapilting them over Jayden while talking trash is annoying. Right now, we still have the argument over everyone. Maye can make his case this week but it's still not the same to me.

I'm so glad Chicago got beat. I think Johnson is an arrogant little SOB and I would hate to have seen them in a Super Bowl. I don't think the Rams can do it, but I'll be rooting for them the rest of the way for reasons I probably don't have to elaborate on.

What a football game. I am rooting against the Bears as I always have and Ben Johnson was an idiot yesterday. He went for 4th downs multiple times and any field goal would have probably been enough to win. Taking the ball 2nd in OT made zero sense. They got two possessions and you only got one dumbass.

That play by Caleb was one of the most amazing plays I've ever seen. But sorry you lost so it won't be remembered. He looks legit to me, and has show that he has IT. Well until that final drive in OT when it looked like the Bears were about to win. Bottom line is he was 47-90 (52%) with 4 TD and 5 INTs in the playoffs and missed open receivers, some for TDs, all game.

I think that Ben saw some of us last year and wanted to be aggressive even if it fails. People forget that we went for pretty much every 4th down in the playoffs including in Tampa where we missed like 2 of them that we could have kicked FGs but DQ went with what got us there.

Also with the new OT rules, mostly everyone chooses to kick since both teams are guaranteed a possession now. That way you can see what your opponent does first to decide if you need to score 3 or 7. However, I may have taken it first strictly because I think that Rams D may have been tired and deflated after that last drive in regulation.

Fair points on the 4th downs, I was not exactly being critical at the time but I could not resist taking a hot at Ben. This is the game now and it adds excitement.

As for OT like in other sports it helps to know what you need. But this was a low scoring, defensive battle. A third possession was actually very likely. Imagine going into the top of the 11th with the visiting team only needed to score and the home team does not even get an at bat? That's an incredible disadvantage.

How long until Stidham throws a pick6?

Ok. So Stidham is going to be Jeff Hostetlsr or Nick Foles. Lol

Pretty dumb playcall on 4th down there. I guess Payton is going to be aggressive today.

I don't know but that looks like a fumble.

Should be a TD.

That's a good challenge, even if they lose it. It looks short

Damn, after all these commercials they might be playing in 3 inches of snow

Maye in the super bowl.

Daniels on IR.

You can only play the team in front of you, but if Nix had started do you seriously think the Patriots would have won that game?

Besides, even if the Patriots do win, it has no bearing at all on the rest of Jayden's career and what he might achieve.
