The #6 seed and not playing Philly in Philly in the first game.

so we have to win next week for the 6th. ok

Collinsworth made it seemlike a lock for us playing the Rams after we beat the falcons

What he was saying is that with the win, the Rams also clinch the playoffs. They needed a Washington win as well. So the announcers kept mentioning them both together.

We have to win to guarantee the 6th seed. We could lose but then Green Bay would also have to lose at home vs Chicago.

A lot of that is Daniels, but it's also undertalented barely signable free agents who are more than holding their own. Z was a hero yesterday. He fought like hell. I doubt he's on 3% of fantasy rosters. He may be on zero fantasy rosters. That's what a good team needs. It needs guys who aren't supposed to to step up. You can't only rely on Superman to save the day... sometimes, it's up to Robin or Plastic Man.

He was on my roster this week and I've got the receipts to prove it. Won my DFS Week with he and JD5.

Hail.

If we lose that game vs the Falcons. Do we still qualify for the 7th seed if all the other games outcomes hold (and we beat the cowboys)?

Just wondering how close to the third rail we were in OT.

Thanks

I don't usually care enough about the Falcons to mock their fans, but here's fans celebrating end of regulation field goal attempt.

Entertaining though that is, I'm a heartless bastard. I need to see what happened next when the realisation sets in. Then the whole of the OT period.

I like my enemies to suffer and enjoy no smell more than that of their lamentations.

It was dead center. I was sure we just lost. With our history, I couldn't believe it when the announcers refs waved "No good."

Is there a potential playoff benefit to beating the Cowboys next week? Jayden took some big hits yesterday...mabye let Marcus play?
We clinch the 6 seed with a win(or a Packer loss but I doubt they lose to the garbage Bears at home unless they full on rest everyone and even then their backups could win).

Big difference between being the 7 seed and playing in Philly or being the 6 seed and playing either in LA or Tampa.

True, but on the other hand, we played Philly tight twice. The first time, we held a lead in the fourth quarter before we completely fell apart and we all know about the second game. Not that Philly isn't a better team, but we play them pretty well.

Still, I'd rather get the higher seed because beating Dallas would be a lot more fun than losing to them.

Who's flying to L.A next weekend if we get the 6 seed?

Cheapest playoff tickets you'll ever see.

For this season, we should just enjoy the ride no matter the outcome because we are playing with house money. Now that we have our quarterback, the off-season is going to be really telling about this organization. We all know what the holes are so how many can they fill with decent to great players between the draft and free agency? I fully expect some misses but I think if they can sure up the offensive line, get another weapon on offense (either tight end or wide receiver), and get a game changer on defense (either CB or pass rusher) then the rest can be filled in with serviceable pieces. The schedule we play next year is going up be a lot tougher so let's see if they can have this team ready to legitimately compete.

It's really good to feel truly vested in this team again and to believe in the future. I was 7 in 91 and haven't truly believed they could win it all since then except for 2012 and we know how that turned out.

We are still a young enough team that sitting them is not wise. Think of it like starting to run on the beach and then getting to a flat surface and you can cruise. We want to hit our stride going into the playoffs. Our game is based on winning the inches game and we're really close to being smooth at that. Plus, our run game needs a lot more live reps to get some details fixed.

Yes. We were at the "win and in" position. Win either game and we were in.

I made a comment on the live when Mariota told Jayden to get up. I was pretty sure it was about breathing. I’m glad he was mic’d. Mariota tells him it’s easier to breathe and get your air.

Then tells him to use his god given abilities to win the game. Jayden gets right to speaking to the team right after that. Really good team moment.

I kind of wish Mariota could give him advice on what the defense was doing and what to look for instead of hippy shit
