As long as it isn't one of those "low profile" hats that has the logo the same color as the rest of the hat. I hate them. I'd wear my hat backwards before I would be caught dead wearing a team hat that tries to hide the team's existence.

Well - since the draft hat design is handled by the league and is the same for all teams I don’t see it as relevant to ‘the branding’ effort.

I can honestly say I don’t think this makes it better. Now it seems too busy.

The way they don’t actually make any big announcements about uniform changes and just keep dripping out images in unrelated posts is kind of cowardly. Like they know if they post JUST a uniform reveal without locking comments, a huge percentage will be no-lifers putting tons of effort into crying about anything they do (as is the nature of social media).

It’s just interesting to see them make major, mostly popular changes (within the context of the generally unpopular Commanders branding, of course) and not proudly present them as their own THING during the offseason. Just drip-feeding parts of it over a period of months.

Yep, it actually has the effect of making the W look smaller..and it doesn’t need to look smaller.

It appears I'm in the minority. I actually like that " W " better with that helmet. To me, it's more cohesive. The gold stripe with the bordering white stripes, and then the gold W with the white outline.

Although, I wish they would just get rid of the stencil effect altogether.

One reason I’m one of the few that doesn’t like them using the old school helmet with gold and white stripes - it looks like they just erased our old logo and slapped a W on it. It doesn’t feel like it matches to me, and I honestly feel like I’m being manipulated when I see it, lol…

I get most fans like anything ‘more Redskins-like’ . But for me the W and the old helmet look don’t work well together.

I don’t really care for the white outlined W version either but it does ‘fit’ better than the W alone.

I’m resigned to have to accept whatever they come up with.
