I was this many years old when I learned that your are down when you attempt to slide and cannot fumble it once you make that attempt to slide. 🤔

So far you can say the same about SMU. Their QB Jennings is looking like the perfect Danny Dimes replacement for the Giants
 
Apparently SMU just isn't even close to being worthy of being in the playoffs.

Too bad they didn't pick Alabama or Miss.

Indiana and SMU shouldn't have been selected for the playoffs but I don't know how they can select teams any other way.

Hopefully Clemson doesn't get blown out 45-10 or something. Arizona State is the other team that will probably get smoked.
 
Yeah, I don't get how they chose Clemson over Miami.

I guess losing to GT and then Syracuse looks bad, but Georgia should have lost to GT.
 
The Syracuse loss in the final week was a killer for Miami
 
If they are going to keep the 12 team format some tweaks to the first round teams are required.
I doubt there will ever be a perfect format but overall those games weren't very good

I really don't like the sideline reporters interviewing the coaches during the game. The reporter just asked the ASU head coach if he would go for it on 4th and 2, and he replied, "probably." It's like she is challenging and persuading him.
 
Oh it definitely should be. I'm just upset cuz I'll be on a plane tomorrow and will likely miss it.
 
I'll be honest, some of these targeting calls are complete crap. Helmets collide, it is part of the game. Sometimes it is unavoidable.

Okay good the refs made the right call.
 
Texas so does not deserve to win this game.

If they had played like this against Clemson, they’d have lost by two TDs.
 
Sarkisian talking to his kicker right before the kick....smart move? Ewers lost a couple of yards on that weird scramble right before the kick.
 
Sarkisian and Ewers are both wildly overrated.

I hope the Giants take Ewers.😁

Watching with wifey, and on that 3rd down play I said to her, “gotta have a spy to not let that QB scramble,” and they leave the middle of the field wide open.🤦‍♂️

Texas has stepped on their dicks all day.
