So far, I've really enjoyed Bluesky.

Xwitter is such a shit-show of racism, misogyny, and astroturfed political takes...nice that there's finally a viable alternative.

One thing I liked about ES was it kept the political BS out of the team discussions. Will this forum (or Blue Sky thingy) do the same?

We don't discuss politics here. Period. Ever.

So the good news is, you won't know any of the staff's beliefs. Nor will we make any member's life difficult or run them off because we don't like or agree with their beliefs. That should be a refreshing change.

As far as Bluesky, we started an account there because there are huge numbers of humans joining it - and we want them to know we are out here for Washington Football fans. It's not a reflection of anyone's politics here any more than our presence on any other social media site is.

I've been playing around with Bluesky and found a feature I love.

#Feeds

This feature allows you to follow user-created custom feeds using their own version of the Bluesky algorithm. Someone has set one up for Commanders fans.

Go to #Feeds (found on the vertical menu to the left of your usual feed) and then search for "Commanders". Hit the plus sign to add this to your feed options found at the top of the page.

Use the hashtag #RaiseHail to automatically add any post you make to this feed.
