We are doing well at the top of the draft with the likes of Orakpo and Landry. And we are doing well with the late picks in Horton, Moore, Mitchell, Golston and Montgomery, etc.

Now if we can only start to see some serious production from the #2-#4 picks this team should be much improved.

No joke, BD. Round 4 is especially depressing where you have to go back to 98 to find a pick worth the time to send a card to the podium. That year our #4 was Shawn Barber. Of course, if we are being fair it has to be mentioned that the 4th round seems to the be the pick the Skins trade away more than any other so we have had fewer of them over the last decade.

Bingo. I agree. I'll give credit to Vinny, even grudgingly, when deserved, and he has had some success in the late rounds. But man, what it would be like to have a legit, solid starter from the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round. Heck, who am I kidding. Wonder what it would be like to have a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pick in the same draft.

To be fair, jury is still out on Thomas, Kelly, Davis, Rhinehart and Tryon.

Also, McIntosh, Cooley, Betts and Dockery were all 2nd and 3rd rounders...so there have been some hits there.
