Last win in Green Bay

Which position? The one that lead us to an NFC Championship, or was it something else?

Look - some of you guys act like Shanahan ran out on the field last year and tackled Griffin low himself. The guy plays with wild abandon. He got hurt. There's no proof that, even if Shanahan had pulled Griffin for the season earlier, that he wouldn't have torn it all the way (possibly in training camp or preseason this year).

Let it go.

NFC East Championship

THANK YOU! It twerks the hell out of me how people can sit here and criticize ANYTHING Shanny does.. The guy took the LAUGHING STOCK of the NFL and turned it into a place players want to play in 4 years... all while dealing with 2 years of cap penalties, and the WORST front office mess you could ever inherit. Griff got hurt last year. He got physically cleared by the DR. He looked rusty last week but after halftime he came out and looked a lot closer to last years ability. It's been in his head. He was playing tentatively. Maybe part of that was them telling him to take it easy, maybe part of it was him slowing himself down. He's going to be rusty with no preseason play, especially coming off injury.

Im going to start moving away from here more and more the worse the doom and gloom gets. This is now ridiculous.

What kind of a ****ing post is this?

And whether you agree or not, it would be a pretty boring website if all we had were guys saying the same damn thing continuously.

There's a little irony in your post Mike, that's all I'm saying.

Hey, Mike, c',mon you don't mean that-I hope. I myself and a bunch of others would miss the hell out of you and you know it-the place wouldn't be the same. Chat would be a lot more boring too.

Hell, if I left everything that has people that say stuff that consistently pissed me off I'd never be online at all.

I even have places I visit online that have....gulp...leftist idiots that post delusional nonsense that makes me want to strangle them but I hang around anyway because the rest are cool and relatively sane. :beatnik2:

Bottom line-this place needs you, my man.

Griffin and Morris have to show up. If they do, we can compete with anyone. If they don't, we will get trucked.

Trucked. Sigh.

There's no proof that, even if Shanahan had pulled Griffin for the season earlier, that he wouldn't have torn it all the way (possibly in training camp or preseason this year).

This is a great point. Sorry if I upset anyone with my comment. I just had a terrible feeling all week that Robert's knee was still not fully healed, that it would make him a sitting duck in GB, and that he might not ever be the same QB again.

It made me furious to think that Shanny may have been largely responsible for ruining the most promising player we've had in a decade or more. I had flashbacks to the locker room scene from Friday Night Lights.

I didn't mean to upset anyone. I apologize.

Bottom line, we played like poo, but that's why there's 16 games in a season

Yeah we played like poo, but this further pushes something i've been saying (as well as others). Preseason is MONUMENTAL to a player and their ability to be successful. Griff's situation is different because he was coming off an injury, so he's gotta shake his own mental lag and regain confidence in the knee. It'll happen. He's made progress each game and Morris looks like he's getting his legs back under him too...

Reminds me of when In Living Color did the halftime special and it was Men on Football "Now if only the game was between the Oilers and the Packers" lol.
