Once again, Dan Snyder is played for a big payday by a player at the end of his career.
And, from a rival team, no less.
It smells of Haynesworth.

Probably more likely the Barrow signing under Gibbs from the giants don't think he ever played a down
And compared to Haynesworth? He could go on IR tomorrow and it still wouldn't be as bad as the Hayensworth signing. Not even close.

The Redskins spent good money to swipe Jason Hatcher away from the rival Cowboys in free agency. Early returns aren't good. We learned this week that Hatcher's ailing knee required arthroscopic surgery. While the four-to-six week recovery timetable should put Hatcher back on the field in time for training camp, it's an inauspicious start that makes you wonder if the Redskins were wise to invest in an inconsistent big man on the wrong side of 30.

If this is the absolute worst news so far this year, we've been through worse.

My biggest health concern about the defense is I'm still nervouse about Merriweather getting on the field, and wonder if he's still as fragile as he used to be. We've still only got one good season out of him - and that's just health-wise - doesn't include his spearing.
