Crowder runs a punt back for a td late in the 4th and we win 27-23 over the gnats.
 
I'm giving Om the win this week. He predicted Cravens would have a key turnover and also predicted a late INT although he got the player wrong. And Bruton must've read your prediction and not thought much of it.

Of course, I came in a close 2nd place, with my prediction that the game would be decided by a field goal.

Well, Jay Gruden (Loser) brings his weak coaching, and staff, back to the comforts of FedEx field, where he's sure to have them play down to the competition, and try, again, to win a home game we have no business losing. (Don't let the only exhibition of balls he's ever displayed calling the fake punt fool you) After starting Dak WhatsHisFace on his path to the Pro Football HOF, Loser, Wrong Play McVay, and Not Very Barry, will try to do the same for (Enter Browns QB of The Moment).

The key is, our players will try(despite the coaching staff's attempts to lose the game, like they tried last week in NY) to outperform the coaches again, but still lose the contest against Cleveland. \

Through shear dumb luck, we may have found the answer to our running woes, in the reshaped O-line. What our brilliant coaches thought was "worse case scenario" actually looked like what should have been all along. No surprise there.

But poor coaching will be too much to overcome, and a late field goal gets the Browns a win.

Which of course was my plan. It was all very psychological.

And I am now officially a Sua Cravens guy. Man will be a regular Pro Bowler starting after next season.
 
Redskins score early and often. Many get in on the action, but Jordan Reed is the most productive. Redskins win going away, 48 to 14.
 
Browns are scrappy and stay in the game until mid-3rd quarter, when Kirk finds Vernon Davis in the back of the end zone from the 12 out of what looks like run formation. For the rest of the day at least, it breaks the Red Zone woes, and the Skins add a couple punctuation mark scores late to pull away.
 
Browns lead 14-0 in the second as Skins fans are contemplating jumping off the nearest buildings. Kirk finds Reed for two straight Red Zone scores to right the ship; Crowder adds the go ahead TD, and Matt Jones puts the game out of reach in the late third with a long screen pass he takes to the hizzy.
 
Kirk finally sees Garcon' open deep, TD for the clincher late 3rd.
Revamped OL tidy's up and the run game dominates the 4th but a fumble by Kelly makes things interesting to keep us in our seats 'til the final seconds run out as the D does 'just enough'
 
Browns miss a FG with 2 min's left in the game and the Skins win by one point; 18 to 17
 
One thing is clear ... Redskins fans live in fear. When that starts to change someday, we'll know the ground is finally solidifying underfoot.
 
OK BOLD prediction time....

I'm going out on a limb here....

Kirk has now played his pre-season games and shaken off the rust. Crowder continues to impress and Jordan Reed becomes a factor close to the goal line. I think this week is the week we fix our Red Zone issues. I think we start turning those FG's into TD's and we rack up a big points score. I'm thinking 30 plus. Multiple receivers are in on the score fest, especially Jordan Reed who gets at least 2.
Much of this is because we continue with last weeks (kinda) commitment to run the ball down their throats, forcing a semblance of balance to their defense and giving us room to breathe in the passing game.

However our Defense struggles. Hit by injuries we struggle against ANOTHER QB who we should be rights have our way with I get the heebiejeebies when I see rookie or 3rd string QB's, for some reason we seem to struggle with them. So the Browns rack up some points too.

I think it's pretty high scoring, but not too close.

I'm going 37-21 Skins.

Jones runs for a TD (and gets 83 yards rushing), Jackson gets one on a long strike early and Reed gets a couple. Crowder is instrumental in moving us down the field but doesn't crack the endzone.
Hopkins nails a couple of FG's for short measure,

And I'm probably hugely wrong. I just have a feeling. LOL
 
Browns CB Joe Haden is listed as "questionable" vs #Redskins with a groin strain. Slot CB Tramon Williams is "doubtful".

The Skins put up 50.

Kirk has 5 TDs, and we run for 2 more.
 
The game starts off in our favor with two good drives and a 10-0 lead. By halftime the Browns have cut it close at 17-10, Skins come out after half and dominate with 2 td's by Reed to end the 3rd quarter 31-10, then we control time of possession in the run game with a final score of 34-17.
 
The ground game gets back on track with Matt Jones breaking off a few long runs. He helps control the game with over 100 yards rushing and 75 yards receiving including a few TDs.

But an accumulation of passing.
We will have 2 receivers go over 100 yards.
And for the first time, since Gruden was an Arena man, he will have a rusher over 100 yards, too.
And Kirk will throw for over 300 yards, and at least 3 TD passes. He will also run one in.
