Just how good was Pierre Thomas?

Not saying he is our Bell Cow moving forward, but he brings a little bit of everything to the table. His lack of wear and tear this year also
has him running like a 3rd year back. Cousins audibled to him on one huge gain and hit him on a few others. Then you saw him move the pile when there was nothing there. With Morris not the same post zone scheme, I would not be surprised to see Thomas get more play than him. Potentially, a lot more.

Matt Jones seems to have cured the fumble issues, and was running angry a few games back. Come playoffs time, depending on how the game is going, he could get a lot of play too. Then there is Chris Thompson, who just produces.

Things are getting very interesting in the offensive backfield. At the very least, teams will have to game plan for more than what we showed vs Dallas at home.

I'm thinkin he could and should, take Young's roster spot.
I don't see any more justification on continuing to use a valuable roster spot on Young,, based on the combination of both his limited production output, and our limited use of him.
Thomas and Young seem very similar backs, but Thomas just seems better.

Special Teams. Young is one of their most valuable special teams players. He's not going anywhere.

The draft will be fascinating, not that I'm near ready to start talking about that. I think we will spend a lot of time debating how much tread Pierre has left on his tires. With Morris probably gone, I will be interested to see what they do with Pierre and the draft. I could see a scenario in which Jones/Thomas/Thompson is our RB rotation going into TC.

He's a very good blocker, outstanding as a receiver and his 4 runs for 22 yards last week kinda put Alf to shame (17 & 49)

He was CLUTCH. All of his runs and catches felt like they were in key situations/3rd down.
