Is it time to put Breeland on the best receiver regardless of where he lines up, like they did towards the end of yesterday's game with Alshon. Watkins is a load and they will move him around. Springs thinks it might be just a bit early to do this, and wants him to develop more as a corner. Springs went on to say he thinks BB will become a star in the league.

I wondered that myself yesterday when Alshon burned us late. I think it's getting close to that time, Breeland is developing into a great corner.

Yeah, it looks like we are getting closer to that time. After that deep bomb to Alshon, they did put Breeland on him the next play (despite it being on the side of the field he's not usually on). And good thing they did, Bears went over the top to Alshon again, and Breeland almost got a pick. But did save a td!

I can't help but wonder if McC was the one who found Breekand for us while he was working as a consultant. The Scott seems to always find elite DBs in the late rounds, and they are typically somewhat oversized with long wimgspans. Breeland is looking more and more like Richard Sherman.
