Actually adding talent and a decent kicker they improved by leaps and bounds this season. Not even Bobby april could have made our unit shine for a few years there

I'm sure Cavanaugh has been helpful, but just curious - what do you base that statement on?

If nobody came calling for Haslett, they won't come calling for Joe Barry... Nobody on our team really deserves a shot. McVay is too young to be a HC. Callahan might get an opportunity, but we'll probably do what we can to keep him.

IMO, the more people who leave, the more input Scot McCloughan has on who will join the team. I'm not so worried.

3 years of mediocrity from Kirk - without Cavanaugh.
1 year of pure greatness from Kirk - with Cavanaugh.

Coincidence ?
Or Common denominator ?

Maybe instead of giving Kirk the mega-million dollar contract, we should give it to Cav.
