LOL It's a gamble every time. I even offered the option to leave to Cindy... got the stink eye. I don't even want to live in Fl, but it has nothing to do with storms LOL. This is hurricane 15 for us in this house. The latest update a few minutes ago... looks like we may have had the worst of the rain and wind. The eye is already north of us, and there aren't many bands coming in. Only issue is surge, and those numbers have dropped for my area. I'm sure we'll have a crazy windy night, but no more tornado warnings. I'm going to take a nap...

We've got 4 inches of rain so far, so we expect flooding if it gets to 8 inches, especially if the St.Johns crests again. Just had a funnel cloud about 1 mile from my neighborhood. We really won't know until late this evening what were in for here. If this resembles Ian there'll be a foot of water on a lot of the roads.

Yeah, we got nothing. Some rain and the occasional gust. A tornado hit about 12-15 miles away but that is it. Lucky again.

Debris, some localized flooding but me and Mrs SO are safe.

I’m going to assume the best and that Pete is just without power and cell service.

The local mall to me is being used as a staging area for FPL service restoration equipment and personnel. Hundreds of bucket trucks, mobile kitchens, mobile homes, generators etc. They should be getting sent west very soon if not already.

All good here. lots of wind, and hardly any rain. A few damaged plants. Power came back on around noon. Still don't have internet, so I just tethered to my phone a few minutes ago. Spent the day putting the place back to normal, even pressure washed the lani. No complaints here, we dodged one this time.
