Thanks. I think one of the big tricks is making them laugh. Takes them off autopilot. For people like Mark especially they've heard practically every Star Wars question imaginable so starting by doubting his prowess when comparing his feats to Bob's wound up really working well.
And just to share, I was really proud of myself during the interview. I was professional and not fanboying. After it ended and Mark hung up, I did my Snoopy happy dance. That one and getting the one on one with Joe Gibbs are probably in my personal top ten reporter moments. Stan Lee and Dave Goelz (Gonzo the Great from the Muppets) were also huge. Some of my favorites though were with people no one's ever heard of. I've been lucky to be allowed into a number worlds.
